This cottage is an eclectic blend of wood and stone, old and new, surrounded by
woods and a mountain stream. Relax in the hot tub next to a natural waterfall; enjoy
outdoor dining on the terraced mountain stone patio or rest in the gazebo overlooking
the stream.
On the main level, the dining room overlooks the sunken living room, which has one
entire wall of stone with a huge wood-burning fireplace and raised hearth. Both rooms
have heart-of-pine floors, cathedral ceiling with open beams, antiques and local works
of art. The main level also has a bedroom with queen bed and an adjoining sun porch
bedroom with twin beds and a sitting area overlooking the stream below. Downstairs,
there is a half bath and a third bedroom, which opens onto the covered terrace with a
porch swing that invites you to sit a spell and enjoy the “Peaceful Side of the
Smokies”.
