RESERVATIONS: Are made on a first-come first serve basis. Each rental home lists the number it
sleeps-this is the maximum number that may occupy the home. The only exception to this rule is an
infant in a crib or under the age of two. Persons under the age of 21 unaccompanied by a parent will
not be permitted to register. During certain periods of the year, we may require minimum night
reservations. In season rates are from April-October and off-season rates are from November-March.
(Holidays are considered "In Season").
DEPOSITS: In order to guarantee your reservation, a one night's equivalent deposit is required. In
addition, the person making the reservation must provide a credit card for our records. The balance
owed must be received 20 days prior to check-in, unless prior arrangements have been made with
your reservationists.
CANCELLATIONS: You may check in at Hideaway Cottage's office anytime between 3:00pm and
5:00pm. If you will be arriving after 5:00pm please make prior arrangements with the Reservationist
so that you will be able to get your map and keys. Security passes are required to enter the Laurel
Valley Community between sunset and sunrise. The pass must be visible on the dash of your
vehicle. Please inform the Reservationist of the number of passes you will need prior to check-in.
All guests must check out promptly at 10:00am. There will be no refund for early departure. Upon your
departure all keys and gate passes must be returned to the offices. If departing before 9:00am
please make prior arrangements for your keys to be dropped off.
OCCUPANCY/HOUSE PARTIES: Only people with reservations are permitted to stay in homes
overnight. No nighttime visitors allowed without prior clearance from the Hideaway Cottage office.
House parties are not allowed under any circumstances. If a house party is discovered, occupancy
will be immediately terminated without refund.
PETS: NO pets are permitted in homes that are not pet-friendly. If a pet is discovered after check-in,
occupancy will be terminated with no refund. Tenant will be responsible for the cost of fumigating and
deep cleaning the home for fleas and any repairs of any damaged property. This charge is never less
than $200.00 but can be more depending on the damage.
SMOKING: NO SMOKING is allowed in any of our cabins. If it has been discovered that smoking has
occurred in any of our cabins, an additional fee may be charged after checkout and the cabin has
been cleaned, which will be charged to your credit card.
FORBIDDEN ITEMS: Out of respect for our other guests and residents, and to preserve our land, we do
not allow bonfires, campers, tents, motor homes, u-hauls, or motorcycles, nor the shooting of BB or
pellet guns, firearms or firecrackers.
